About CBES Certification:
This dynamic five-day credentialing course offers highly effective ergonomic evaluation and intervention processes derived from applied best practices. The CBES® approach is unique. It is the only integrated ergonomics credentialing program in the country that provides a blend of clinical-, wellness-, behavioral- and engineering- based methodologies that will enable the attendee to immediately apply the most effective strategies that will successfully prevent, manage, and reduce work and lifestyle related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and disabling illnesses. CBES® field and office ergonomic methodologies fully satisfy legal criteria for being scientifically based and compliant with OSHA guidelines. Attendees will learn office and field work ergonomic and wellness applications and leave this program with a thorough knowledge of work physiology, causes of MSDs, methods of ergonomic problem solving, and effective ergo-behavioral and wellness solutions for both field and office work environments. Attendees will not just learn the "how to's", but will also know the "why's" for each specific method taught. Attendees will learn to analyze the human interaction with work from a unique anatomical and clinical perspective and learn the most important principles of injury and illness prevention so that they can tackle any work process problem regardless of the complexity. Upon course completion attendees will have the knowledge and tools to establish a comprehensive corporate-wide ergonomics and wellness program and help their organizations prevent MSDs, reduce workers compensation claims, improve employee morale and productivity, and avoid OSHA citations for ergonomic violations. The CBES® Course will also address effective work, lifestyle, and nutritional wellness strategies dealing with the management and prevention of obesity, diabetes, arthritis, cancer, and heart disease.
